Order Policy Information

Delivery of digital goods (e.g., e-books): I will send the download link (or otherwise provide you with access to the purchased item) as soon as I receive your order, which will be the next time I check my e-mail. I check for new e-mail messages at least twice per day.

Shipping policy: Orders are shipped the same day you place your order or the next day on which mail service is available (i.e., every day except all Sundays and USPS holidays), depending on the time your order was received. Orders are shipped via the route you specified in your order (typically First Class Mail or Priority Mail). See the order page for the current shipping rates. If your address is listed as "Unconfirmed," I will contact you via e-mail to confirm it before shipment. If you do not respond within three days, I will send another message to the e-mail address you used to place the order. It is your responsibility to confirm your address within 30 days.

Privacy policy: We will not share or release any of your information unless compelled by a court order. On rare occasions we publish a comment or question. When we do that, we will not use your full name unless you authorize that; most comments or questions are published without any name associated, or with a first name only. If you do not want your comment or question published, include “DO NOT PUBLISH” in your subject line. It's that simple.

Price or feature change policy: The order page reflects the most current prices for the items shown. I must occasionally change my prices to keep up with inflation or to adjust for market conditions. I may have references in one or more of my books or web sites that reflect the older prices and terms, but they are superceded by the new pricing schedule on the order page.

Return/Cancellation policy: Physical items may be returned within 30 days for a full refund, minus any shipping charges, if they are in like-new condition. Downloaded items, including e-books and burglar deterrent sounds, are not returnable or refundable. Exceptions: With many of my e-books, I offer a 100% refund if you find (within 30 days of your purchase) a competitive book or e-book that contains all of the same great information I include in my books -- not just some of it. Certain books are bound to contain some of the info, especially now that various "authors" (ahem!) are copying my ideas. I saw one of those "books" and found that the "author" mentioned some of what I said, but omitted the most valuable information. If you want to waste your time "learning" from a half-wit, go ahead, but don't waste my time asking to "return" my book after you read it. I have dozens of web sites and so much content available free on the Internet that you could spend a few months reading what I wrote. If you want to judge in advance whether buying my books is a good investment, look at the quality of my free content. The paid material is even better. Incidentally, I recently called one of my customers when I discovered that he had illegally posted one of my books (Advanced Enlargement) online. He said the book was great and had saved his marriage. That's wonderful, but his wife won't be pleased about the fact that he must now enter into a financial settlement with me for posting the content online. If you transfer one of my paid books to others, or otherwise provide them with access to it, you are essentially stealing my book and trying to give yourself the same right to distribute it as I have. Please don't make that mistake, unless you want me to sue you for copyright infringement (see the Terms of Sale page).

If you think you already know a lot about the subject of one of my books and question whether buying it is worthwhile, you can summarize what you know and send it to me. If I think that you would not benefit from reading a book, I'll let you know in advance. If you don't do that, you forfeit your right to a refund by claiming that you already knew what was in my book. Trust me, you don't know all (or even most) of what is in my books, but if you think you do, avail yourself of this offer.
